Creative Film Activities

Introduction

Watching and talking about films can often be the starting point for creative projects.

Once you have explored with your class all the important areas such as camera shots, composition, the role of sound and editing, you could find ways of trying them out yourselves.

This could be making a film, or - if equipment is an issue - it could be some other creative project such as those listed in the No Camera? No Problem! section.

You'll find a plethora of drawing, playing and writing ideas in the Creative Responses to Film section.
